Tempranillo (temp-rah-knee-oh) is Spain’s favourite grape and it just loves the ancient soils, high altitude vineyards and harsh climate of belting hot days and cold nights of the Manchuela region in central Spain.
TASTING NOTE
A delectably expressed tempranillo, the intensely aromatic nose shows black/blueberry, mixed berry compote, cocoa, toasted nut and subtle spice characters. The palate is concentrated and supple and delivers excellent fruit purity as well as seductive savoury notes, wonderfully complemented by silky tannins. This is sumptuous and delicious.
