Aberlour is already one of our favourite distilleries thanks to the excellent a’bunadh. Introduced in 2008, this 18 year old is now one of the stars of the range: rich and fruity, with a great textured mouthfeel. A previous winner of a Gold Medal & Best in Class at the International Wine & Spirit Competition.

A younger, more intensely smoky version of Auld Reekie, The Big Smoke is an Islay malt whisky from Duncan Taylor

The heart of the Bowmore range, the 12 year old exhibits some beautiful coastal notes with a gentle peat, it is the balance that the floral element presents that makes this a great entry bottling for Bowmore.
Caol Ila is considered to be one of the lighter of the Islays. Medium-bodied with a rounded flavour. Pale in colour with a greenish tinge. This malt has a peaty nose, with distinct floral notes. It is described as tasting slightly of seaweed/iodine, lightly medicinal, smoky, salty, sweet with a ...

A great malt which Jim Murray awarded 95 points in his Whisky Bible, this is excellent value for money. The flavours are simple, but flawless, a clean, crisp 15 year old from the Dalwhinnie distillery, also part of Diageo’s Classic Malts range.

Released in a trio of travel retail bottlings, Bowmore’s White Sands 17 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky gets matured in ex-bourbon casks, bringing creamy vanilla and thick treacle notes to the table. This pairs wonderfully with the coastal wafts and peat smoke which people love Bowmore whisky for.

This is a fairly typical lowland whisky in that it is fresh and light in character, with notes of lemon and cut grass. A sweet nose and a hint of peat make this a good introduction to the world of single malts.

Glenlivet Nàdurra Oloroso 700ml
NZD $108.00 inc. GSTAnother Nàdurra! These releases from the Glenlivet distillery, bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration, are rather excellent indeed. This particularly batch was drawn from first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks.

A young, rather gentle Bowmore. Whilst not massively complex or full-bodied, Legend is still a great value for money malt.

This is one of the legendary Islay malts. We loved the Committee release and we weren’t disappointed with this incredible dram. This was released to replace Airigh Nam Beist, choosing a more medicinal style over the creamier style of the beastie.
