This is a fairly typical lowland whisky in that it is fresh and light in character, with notes of lemon and cut grass. A sweet nose and a hint of peat make this a good introduction to the world of single malts.

The entry level bottling from Scotland’s most northerly distillery, Highland Park, aged for 12 years with plenty of citrus and green notes.
Caol Ila is considered to be one of the lighter of the Islays. Medium-bodied with a rounded flavour. Pale in colour with a greenish tinge. This malt has a peaty nose, with distinct floral notes. It is described as tasting slightly of seaweed/iodine, lightly medicinal, smoky, salty, sweet with a ...
Released in a trio of travel retail bottlings, Bowmore’s White Sands 17 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky gets matured in ex-bourbon casks, bringing creamy vanilla and thick treacle notes to the table. This dram has been designed by Jim McEwan to showcase the classic, floral and elegant Bruichladdich style; matured purely in American oak Bourbon casks. A Kate Moss rather than a Madonna, an Audrey Hepburn rather than a Marylin Monroe, a natural elegance that is beyond fad and fashion – truly ...
The Cragganmore Distillers Editions spend a finishing period in casks that previously held Port wine, adding extra fruitiness to the whisky. The 2015 release was distilled in 2003
This is one of the legendary Islay malts. We loved the Committee release and we weren’t disappointed with this incredible dram. This was released to replace Airigh Nam Beist, choosing a more medicinal style over the creamier style of the beastie.
A fruity, clean and polished malt with a touch of honey and spice, Aberfeldy 12 Year Old is an excellent introduction to this Highland distillery. Aberfeldy’s main claim to fame is as the heart of the excellent Dewar’s blend but whiskies like this are putting it firmly in the spotlight
Original is the core bottling in the Glenmorangie range, released to replace the old 10 year old. This really is a classic malt, so creamy and fruity.
A younger, more intensely smoky version of Auld Reekie, The Big Smoke is an Islay malt whisky from Duncan Taylor
A delicious, richly sherried Glenfarclas aged for 17 years and launched for the travel retail market. Loads of character and depth, just what we’ve come to expect from the distillery.
