Hazelnuts\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eLocal Piedmont hazelnuts are shelled, toasted and crushed. They are then infused in a solution of alcohol and water.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e2. Distillation\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePart of the hazelnut infusion is distilled to produce a natural hazelnut distillate.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e3. Natural Flavourings\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eA number of natural extracts – including cocoa and vanilla - are blended with the hazelnut infusion and hazelnut distillate to create the Frangelico concentrate.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e4. Blending\u003c\/strong\u003eThe concentrate is blended with pure alcohol, sugar and water to achieve the required bottling strength. It is then laid down in vats for 6-8 weeks to allow the blend to marry together and mellow. Taste \u003cstrong\u003eFrangelico\u003c\/strong\u003e and the whole story falls into place.
