Glen Spey 10YO 2010 'Signatory'  700ml

Situated on the southern end of the village of Rothes, Glen Spey is a single malt that we rarely see bottled, owing to the vast majority of its product set being destined to be part of the famous J&B blend. This expression from Signatory Vintage comes from two '1st use hogshead' casks, matured for 10 years. The aroma has an interesting minty, menthol start, with mint toffee (humbugs), fresh mandarins and a touch of clotted cream. To taste, a note of sour plum and tart rhubarb joins dried fruit found in toasted muesli and Weet-bix honey bites (oaty, biscuity and malty).
