Loch Lomond 14 Year old 700ML

Loch Lomond distillery seem to be getting better and better if recent releases are anything to go by. This is their 14 year old, aged in refill American oak casks, before being finished in lightly toasted French oak casks, specially coopered for Loch Lomond distillery. An explosion of flavour, with green apple and pear on the nose, sweet toffee and vanilla fudge on the palate. All leading to an amazing depth of warming spice, clove and aniseed on the finish.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE: Dry - Braised notes of vanilla syrup and ground black pepper

PALATE: Sweet - Smoked bacon, ground coffee beans, sweet spices, cloves

FINISH: Long - Peat, citrus, currant

 ABV: 46%
