The Macallan Fine Oak 12 Years Old is made from a trinity of alcohols individually ripened European oak barrels seasoned with sherry, American oak seasoned with sherry and American oak barrels previously contained bourbon. Once filled, alcohol undisturbed aging in the same barrels for twelve years. After this period, this complex combination barrel melts and exquisitely expert to create this single malt vibrant. This complex combination of casks delivers a smooth whisky with notes of dried fruit, honey and subtle spice.
