The warm, dry climate, high sunshine hours and long growing seasons in the region are perfectly suited to produce Pinot Gris with ripe flavours whilst retaining good natural acidity. Thornbury Pinot Gris has excellent richness, exhibiting vibrant florals of lychee and pears. .

'This Pinot Gris displays lovely delicate characteristics of ripe pears, red apple and hints of ginger spice uniquely derived from the growing conditions of the Waipara wine region. A mouth filling and textural wine with an excellent richness. Best enjoyed young.'
