Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon Mâcon-Uchizy 2021 is a refined and expressive Chardonnay from the Mâconnais, produced by the domaine founded by legendary Meursault winemaker Dominique Lafon.

Crafted from 100% Chardonnay, the 2021 vintage combines fruit from the domaine's parcels in Uchizy, including its holdings in Les Maranches, with additional vineyard parcels from the village due to the dramatically reduced yields caused by the severe 2021 frost.

The bouquet is fresh and expressive, revealing aromas of orchard fruit, ripe apricot and citrus, complemented by more exotic notes of passion fruit and tamarind together with subtle floral and mineral nuances.

On the palate, the wine is supple, rounded and beautifully balanced. Ripe fruit provides attractive depth and texture, while fine acidity maintains freshness and precision. Citrus and subtle saline notes bring additional energy, leading into a spicy, persistent and mineral-driven finish.
