This bourbon certainly has been sheltered from the storm of oak. On the nose, cherries and vanilla lead the way with pear and gentle clove. On the taste, baked apples, toffee and vanilla are more than just wallflowers. The finish is loaded with baked orchard fruits, anise and vanilla lingering alongside brown sugar.
