A cask strength edition of Michter's Straight Rye whiskey, bottled up at a bold 54.9% ABV. A full-bodied treat from the impressive Kentucky distillery, with richly charred oak, caramelised fruit, and peppery heat, it's a cracker for sipping, and ought to make some rather special Manhattans.

Tasting Note:

Nose Stewed currants and berries with richly charred oak, woody spice, and chocolate raisins.

Palate Oily oak and buttery toffee cushion a powerful portion of rye spice, with a hint of wood smoke in the distance.

Finish Pepper and fiery cinnamon linger, joined by that dense oak char.
