What Is Bourbon?
Bourbon is an American whiskey made from a grain mash of at least 51% corn and aged in new, charred oak containers. It must be produced in the United States, and most bourbon comes from Kentucky. The corn and new charred oak give bourbon its signature sweetness, with notes of vanilla, caramel and toasted oak.
