Mills Reef Estate Chardonnay 2021 750ml
The grapes for this fine wine were grown predominantly from our Bridge Pa vineyard, where the vines sit in rich alluvial soils, in the celebrated Triangles wine region of Hawke's Bay. The weather over the growing season was excellent, with a hot dry summer allowing the fruit to ripen perfectly for harvesting on the 16th March, upon reaching optimum flavour profile and balance.
This intensely aromatic wine showcases aromas and flavours of lime, mango, rock melon, with a hint of apple blossom supported with deft toasty oak. Medium-bodied and silky smooth, this delightful wine is enjoyable on its own, or pairs beautifully with prawn dumplings or a risotto dish.
