This Classic Gisborne Chardonnay exhibiting the ‘big, bold and buttery’ characters is made with as little winemakers' intervention as possible to showcase the ‘old school style’ of wines that we believe express the region best.

The full-bodied, rich style of Chardonnay is a classic of the Gisborne region. This wine displays fruit-driven aromas of apricot and melon, a textural palate balanced with buttery notes, and rounded off with toasty oak characteristics.

The Last Shepherd Chardonnay is a great food wine and is ideally matched to Seafood, poultry and lighter game dishes, particularly where an element of creaminess, is included in the dish.
