Rutte has been an expert in creating and distilling superb juniper-based spirits for almost 150 years. Based in Dordrecht near Rotterdam since its foundation by Simon Rutte in 1872, the range includes Rutte Old Simon Genever and Rutte Dry Gin.

"Old Simon" is named after the founder, Simon Rutte. Made to his 19th-century recipe, this genever employs classic botanicals such as juniper, coriander and angelica root, as well as more unusual ones including walnut, hazelnut, mace and celery.
