Thomson Victor Gin Blanc de Blanc 2021 is a seasonal release, celebrating the Chardonnay grape harvest of 2021. Limited edition bottling. Thomson's original Victor Gin's botanicals; juniper, lemon, lemon grass, cardamom and coriander have been combined with the fruity, delicate flavour of fresh chardonnay grape must.
Thomson distillery is located in one of NZ's oldest wine regions, North West of Auckland. The region is famous for its Chardonnay, so it seemed only fitting that Thomson pay homage to this grape. Champagne made from only Chardonnay is referred to as 'Blanc de Blancs' or white of whites.
Aromas of candied lemongrass and stewed fruits. Lemon sorbet, sweet grapes and cardamom on the palate. Viscous mouth feel and lingering juniper notes on the finish.
