Ardnamurchan' AD 10.22 Madeira Cask 700ml

Ardnamurchan returns with another splendid small batch: this Ardnamurchan AD/10.22 is a limited run of just under 6000 bottles and, unlike the standard Ardnamurchan AD releases, was made entirely with the distillery's unpeated spirit. This Ardnamurchan started its maturation in ex-bourbon casks, before being transferred to finish in ex-Madeira casks that have lent a lovely tinned fruit syrup edge to the Ardnamurchan spirit. 

Color: Red Copper
Nose: Roasted caramel with dates covered with honey. Bitter walnut oil and marmalade of blood oranges.
Taste: Full bodied jasmine tea, panna cotta cream, treacle toffee with honey and subtle red forest fruits. Deliciously in balance with tobacco leaves and cloves.
Finish: Wonderfully elegant with depts of herbs in combination with fruit jam and marmalade.
