South Star Islay 8yo 2013 700ml

The South Star Islay 8yo 2013 is an Islay single malt from an undisclosed bottle as a south star release by the independent bottler North Star. This Islay single malt was distilled in 2013 and is a vatting of 10 hogsheads which have been bottled end of 2021 at 48%, non-chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited release of 2148 bottles.

TASTING NOTES

Rich and intense smoke with some vanilla and salt. Sweet and salty at the same time with well-balanced peat aroams, vanilla, sea spray and smoldering oak. Long with ash, oak and well balanced.
