Connemara Distiller Edition Irish Whisky 700ml 

An excellent example of mildly peated Irish whiskey. Connemara Distillers edition is matured in bourbon casks and finished in Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at a decent 43% with no age statement. The Connemara whiskeys lead the way when it comes to peated Irish whiskey.

NOSE : Smoky peat balanced by heathland flora with hints of honey and oak.
PALATE : Smooth as silk with a honey sweet start, followed by more complex aromas of malt and fruit giving way to the intensifying full bodied peat.
FINISH : A long and glorious finish with hints of honey and deep peat make spreading across the mouth and palate. Notes of chocolate vanilla and oak leave a mouth-watering taste behind.
