Imagination Black Barn Syrah Barrel Aged Gin 700ml

With the generous help of the Black Barn Vineyards winemaking team in Hawkes Bay, they chose some tightly grained and lightly toasted French oak barriques which were used in the production of their awesome Syrah. Back in the distillery they filled them with the highest quality triple distilled dry gin and let time and nature do its thing. The result is an exquisite gin with a vibrant fruity nose and a hint of toffee and cinnamon. The initial sweet spice on the palate gives way to a soft piney oak body and a lingering dry spice finish. This gin has gained its colour from the toasting of the oak barrel and the Syrah it has absorbed. It will fade over time. Great neat over ice and in a Negroni.
