Bladnoch 19YO 2021 Special Release 700ml
This is a special edition of 2021, which matured for 19 years in ex-sherry Pedro Ximenéz oak barrels. These barrels are known for their intense sweet character. This is why whisky producers around the world use it to give whisky the sweet-hot character of sherry. That's exactly what happened at Bladny PX Sherry Cask Finish!
Whiskey acquired a distinctive taste and aroma of dried fruit, oak, flowers and spicy citrus tones. No cold filtration. After maturing, the whisky is filled into bottles with an alcohol content of 46,7 % and closed with a cork. We recommend serving clean without ice or water.
TASTING NOTES:
Color: mahogany with reflections of red
Aroma: anise, pineapple, ginger, orange peel, figs
Taste: raisins, licorice, citrus, oak, nutmeg, almonds
Finish: Cassia root, cinnamon, dried fruit
Alc: 46.7%
