Brancott Estate Merlot typically has a deep ruby colour and aromas of dark fruit, such as blackberry and plum, along with hints of vanilla, spices and a touch of oak. On the palate, it has a medium body with flavours of black cherry and blackberry, a soft tannic structure, and a smooth, fruity finish. This classic Hawke’s bay merlot is well suited to a range of dishes including antipasto platters and red meat dishes such as seared eye fillet and roast lamb.
