The Merlot is from the famed Gimblett Gravels region in Hawke’s Bay known for its warm climate and free-draining gravels. Fermented in small stainless steel tanks with cultured yeasts and gentle maceration to enhance the fruit forwardness. The wine was thenaged in French oak for 9 months.

TASTING NOTES

Aromas of violet, ripe raspberries, plums, and cocoa bean. Its juicy palate is bursting with dark berry fruits and has a smooth, fine-grain texture. This wine has depth and vibrancy with an elegant and focused finish.
