About the Winery

The Domaine Henri Rebourseau is an iconic Burgundy vineyard founded in 1782. Now directed by the sixth generation, Bénigne and Louis de Surrel, they cultivate 13.6 hectares of exceptional vines planted on lands cultivated for over 1,400 years, including the highly reputed Clos de Vougeot. The vineyard is distinguished by its wines aged for 10 to 15 years, including 5 cuvées classified as Grand Cru and 2 cuvées classified as Premier Cru.

Tasting Note:

"The 2021 Clos de Vougeot Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru possesses mainly red berry fruit, touches of pressed rose petal, incense and peony. The palate is medium-bodied with quite supple tannins, fine acidity, lightly spiced, candied orange peel and blood orange. This will vie with the Chambertin as Rebourseau's best offering in 2021."Neal Martin – Vinous
