A sherried expression from the Kurayoshi range, created by little-known Japanese whisky producer Matsui Shuzou (also known for sake and shochu).

The boutique-sized Matsui Distillery is located in Tottori, a coastal prefecture on southern Honshu in the Chūgoku region of Japan.Their whiskies are characterized by the pure underground waters from the Daisen Mountains that they use while aging their product. This Kurayoshi whisky is bottled after maturing in oak for three years and finishing in sherry casks.
