The Pyramid Valley North Canterbury Rose is predominantly Pinot Noir with a smidge of Pinot Gris, but it's all class and super drinkable.
Fruit was sourced from two sustainably farmed vineyards in Waipara, North Canterbury, planted in the early 1990s and 2004. Whole bunches were pressed into a range of French oak barrels and aged on its lees for six months, with no fining before bottling.
The Pyramid Valley North Canterbury Rose has everything you want in a rose: fresh characters of strawberry, red currants and florals, with some savouriness reminding you that this is completely dry. The tannins and acid are in perfect balance, and the mouthfeel is silky and glorious. A rose to sip and savour.
