Nautilus Estate Marlborough Pinot Noir Museum Release 2015 750ml

The 2015 Nautilus Pinot Noir is bright, fresh and elegant wine with dark cherry, wood smoke, liquorice, violet and spicy oak flavours. An appealing wine with energy and drive. The palate is concentrated, beautifully weighted and plush. The wine is rounded and silky, and offers excellent depth of flavour, wonderfully framed by fine, chalky tannins.

Tasting Notes

Tasted in May 2023, the 2015 Pinot Noir shows little colour development. Some more savoury, spicy aromas are now evident on the nose but there is still a core of primary fruit and the wine remains fresh & lively. The tannins have softened and the oak is well integrated. This wine is in an engaging phase and is a wine to sip and enjoy as it evolves in the glass.
