A superbly elegant and savoury Gibbston Valley Pinot Noir from the expert, Grant Taylor. This wine is one of the finest expressions of this famously cooler subregion, where a long-ripening period allows the development of more complex, subtle and savoury fruit flavours. As usual, Taylor draws from a great source: an older vineyard which was the first in the region to be planted in north-south rows, maximising fruit exposure to the sunlight. Finely extracted though packed with depth and dimension, this is Central Otago Pinot at its best. Drink now or cellar.
