Penfolds has a rich history dating back to 1844 when Dr. Christopher and Mary Penfold arrived in Australia with a vine cutting and a bold vision. Bin 707 is a perfect cabernet sauvignon representation of the Penfolds "House Style": intensely-flavoured fruit, completion of fermentation and maturation in new oak, and an understanding of multi-vineyard, multi-region fruit sourcing. Linked to Max Schubert's dream of making a great Australian red wine built to last, Bin 707 is Penfolds' first commercial release of a single cabernet-based wine.

Colour: Deep, dark crimson.

Aroma: Blackcurrant, cassis and dark plum, layered with cedar, graphite and toasty new oak.

Palate: Rich, powerful and structured, with dense black fruit, fine-grained tannins and a long, persistent finish built for extended cellaring.

Alc: 14.5%
