It is produced with Nebbiolo grapes which come from vineyards of the Monforte d’Alba district. It has an intense ruby red colour and complex aromas with scents of red fruit jam, violet, green pepper, tobacco, liquorice and wet soil. Elegant and velvety flavour, equilibrate, substantial, sapid and tannic.

In 1904 a co-operative winery called Ai Vino Delle Langhe was founded and a young man who founded a young man who worked there was one Alfred Prunotto.
