Running with Bulls Barossa Tempranillo 2020 750ml

The Running with Bulls Tempranillo is sourced from multiple growers in the western ranges, across the valley floor and into the Penr ice area of the Barossa. This provides a great collection of aroma and flavour profiles to make an interesting and varietal Barossa Tempranillo. Fermentation with yeasts indigenous to the vineyards was followed by malolactic fermentation and maturation in new and mature oak barrels. Our aim has been to showcase the stylish fruit flavours and lovely tannins of Tempranillo, and for the oak to have a very subtle influence.

Tasting Notes

Colour - The 2020 Running with Bulls Barossa Tempranillo is scarlet red in colour.

Aroma - Aromas of cola, crushed herbs and black cherry with hints of clove and tomato leaf.

Palate - A silky and savoury palate, showing black cherry and pomegranate with fine liquorice like tannins.

Food Match - Enjoy with five spice duck and shiitake pies or gnocchi with rocket pesto, white beans and sun-dried tomatoes.
