TASTING NOTES
The 2021 Pontet-Canet is a blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot. The precise, complex nose offers a captivating mix of cedar, blackcurrant, graphite, and a hint of spice. The first sip is pure silk – creamy, spicy, and clean. Well-integrated tannins add depth and structure, while notes of oak, chocolate, cedar, and black fruit dance across the palate. The smoky, floral finish is a flourish on this masterpiece.
