Hogshead Shiraz is sourced from established, old-vine South Australian vineyards that produce fruit with excellent intensity of flavour and length. Partial maturation in Hogshead(three hundred litres) oak barrels provides additional complexity and a mellow, approachable character.

This shiraz is a classically full bodied and mouth-coating South Australian Shiraz, packed with ripe berry, dark chocolate and smoky spice flavours. It will continue to develop with medium term cellaring and is the ideal partner to barbecued red meats.
