Created by Italian Vermouth master Beppe Ronco, Hotel Starlino Moscato Rosato is a light sparkling rosé wine from the Piemonte region of Italy, made using Moscato Bianco and Brachetto grapes. It sits within the broader Hotel Starlino aperitivo range, inspired by the grandeur of a historic Italian landmark.
Appearance
Delicate pale blush pink with fine, persistent bubbles — elegant and inviting in the glass.
Nose
Aromatic and floral, with rose blossom, strawberry, cherry, and zesty grapefruit. The Moscato character comes through clearly — fragrant and fresh without being overpowering.
Palate
Very much on the sweet side of bittersweet, with rose water, strawberry jam, cherry jam, and zesty citrus acidity. The bubbles are soft and gentle, keeping the whole experience light and refreshing rather than cloying.
Finish
Bittersweet and sour, with lingering rose and grapefruit zest — a pleasantly clean and moreish ending that keeps you coming back for another sip.
Serving & Food Pairing
Best served as a light and refreshing sparkling wine and an excellent lower alcohol alternative to Prosecco when making an Italian spritz. Also works beautifully on its own well chilled, or alongside light desserts, fruit platters, or soft cheeses.
