El Ron Prohibido, Reserva 12 Years - delicious rum with an interesting past. It was created on the model of rum "Chinguirito", which until 1700 was transported from Mexico to Spain in barrels of raisins and sweet wine. During the crossing on ships, rum developed an exceptional aroma, sweetness and intensity. Reserva's 12-year-old rum is made from gourapo, sugarcane juice grown in the state of Veracruz, harvested immediately after harvesting during the grinding process. Exposure rum is the method of "Soler." It lasts up to 12 years. Spanish oak barrels made from sherry by Pedro Ximenez are used to ripen rum.
