The world of sake is so spectacularly rich and complex that it is impossible to know everything about it. Although sake can be categorised according to its ingredients or how highly the rice is polished, it is common knowledge among sake lovers that no two sake are truly the same.
A sweeter all-rounder sake that is best enjoyed hot! This traditional junmai sake (otherwise known as pure rice wine, made without the addition of brewer’s alcohol) has a full-bodied flavour with a sharp aftertaste. Unlike many other good-quality sakes, this sake’s preferred drinking temperature is either room temperature or gently warmed.
