Aberlour 12yo Non Chill Filtered Single Malt 700ml

A shining light of the Aberlour range, this is a real beauty from the venerable Speyside distillers. This heavily sherried whisky has been matured for 12 years and is packed with rich, nutty fruity flavours. The sherry cask has also brought notes of dark chocolate, espresso, raisins and warming spice.

As the title suggests, this whisky is non chill filtered, meaning that all the delicious oils and flavours are kept in the spirit. It is also bottled at the higher proof of 48% ABV. This makes for a thicker, creamier mouthfeel, and a fuller flavour from the whisky. As this whisky is non chill filtered, it may get a little cloudy if diluted with water or chilled.
