Vidal Estate’s winemaking philosophy is to produce wines that reflect the site where they’re grown, in a style that’s flavoursome yet balanced. Fruit for this 2022 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc comprises grapes growing in Wairau and Awatere Valleys.
TASTING NOTES
Pungent, aromatic, herbaceous, fresh and packed with aromas of fresh mango and pineapple, basil, cape gooseberry and fresh grapefruit. Crisp and dry on the palate with a punchy acid line and flavours of citrus then tropical fruits. The fresh herbs and red bell-pepper flavours layer in diversity and complexity, contrast and spice.
