Yalumba’s Y Series Lighter Shiraz 2023 is a low-alcohol red wine (just 8% ABV) from South Australia, crafted to retain the classic character of Shiraz in a more delicate, easy-drinking form.

Visually it shows a bright, medium-ruby colour with subtle purple hues. On the nose, there are vibrant red floral notes backed by black pepper, fresh herbs, and a touch of coffee grounds. The palate is juicy yet smooth, offering flavours of red cherries, strawberries, and red plums, with a rounded, mellow mouthfeel.

It’s light and fresh, with just enough depth to feel wine-like, making it ideal to serve slightly chilled. The wine pairs well with guacamole and corn chips, Vietnamese-style salads, or roast chicken.
