The Dalmore 21 Year Old 2024 Edition is an exceptional Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky and the pinnacle of The Dalmore's Principal Collection.
Matured for 21 years in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels and first-fill sherry casks, this annual limited release showcases The Dalmore's renowned approach to long and complex maturation. Its distinctive character is enhanced by rare casks that previously held 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry, sourced exclusively from the renowned González Byass bodega.
The aroma is rich and decadent, opening with bitter dark chocolate, ripe Seville orange, Colombian coffee and toffee apple. On the palate, layers of sweet liquorice and Black Forest fruits combine with roasted walnuts and rich marzipan.
The finish is long, elegant and complex, revealing distinctive notes of ginseng, pear tarte tatin and Sanguinello blood orange.
