Drawn from 55 hand-selected casks – a combo of Sherry-seasoned European oak hogsheads, ex-Bourbon barrels and refill casks – that were filled and laid down in November 1998. Not as tropical as the previous bottling, this one oozes sweet heather honey, sun-kissed oranges, marmalade, gingerbread, vanilla ice cream, fruitcake, toffee and toasted nuts, combined with freshly hewn oak, aromatic peat smoke and a cup of lapsang souchong around a campfire kind of vibe. This classic Highland Park is how we want to remember 2020!

Based in Kirkwall, this legendary Orcadian is Scotland’s most northerly distillery and one of only a handful to still employ traditional malting floor. Orkney’s windswept climate – one that has swept all the trees off the island – creates a truly unique place to age whisky.
