Kilchoman PX Sherry Cask 50% 2023 Islay Single Malt 700ml

This Kilchoman was married from 61 casks and was allowed to spend its entire maturation period in them for at least 5 years. PX sherry is even sweeter and richer than other types of sherry, which is also clearly visible in the whisky.

The Pedro Ximénez sherry casks used for the maturation of this bottling originally come from the world-famous Bodega José y Miguel Martin in Jerez, Spain.

Nose Dried fruit, earthy smoke, orange peel, dark chocolate, and hazelnut.

Palate Salted caramel, marmalade, sultanas, cinnamon, and coffee.

Finish Long, sweet, and rich.
