Loch Lomond Original Single Malt Whisky 700ml
Loch Lomond Original is an exceptionally smooth, full-bodied and easy drinking single malt scotch whisky.
This is the entry level expression from this versatile Highland distillery. Lightly peated single malt, matured in American oak casks. Bottled at 43%.
Nose: Dark, warm leather that builds into a more heathery character. These notes give way to a sweeter, malty presence. Lighter and more subtle wood notes become evident at the close.
Palate: A burst of malt on the tongue with sweet cereal notes giving a creamy texture. Brazil nuts with a slightly astringent citrus note in the background.
Finish: The citrus of the palate subsides and the finish becomes more conventionally sweet. Hints of dark molasses develop into a darker sweeter conclusion with citrus peel.
