Midleton Very Rare 2024 Irish Whiskey 700ml

Midleton Very Rare 2024 is the landmark 40th Anniversary Vintage Release in one of Ireland’s most prestigious annual whiskey collections. Created by Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman at Midleton Distillery, the 2024 release continues a tradition that began with the inaugural Midleton Very Rare in 1984.

The 2024 vintage is a carefully selected blend of Single Pot Still and Single Grain Irish whiskeys aged between 12 and 33 years, matured in American oak. Each annual vintage has its own composition, making the 2024 release a distinct and collectible expression rather than simply another batch of the same whiskey.

The aroma combines vanilla, ripe apple and sweet pear with floral and herbal notes, followed by cinnamon, clove, toffee and heather honey. On the palate it is silky and elegant, revealing peach, nectarine, crème brûlée, toffee apple and chocolate-dipped honeycomb, balanced by pot-still spice and charred American oak. The finish is long and refined, with fruit and oak gently lingering.
