Talisker Port Ruighe Single Malt 45.8% 700ml

Following the Talisker Storm, this is another no-age-statement release this time radically different from the last. Following the initial maturation in heavily charred European refill oak casks, the Port Ruighe is then transferred into Port casks to add the finishing touch to what is a brilliant single malt from the Talisker distillery. 

AROMA: Sweet and smoky like a slowly dying wood fire, combined with the abundance of ripe plums.
TASTE: The initial peppery note quickly turns into its very own earthy taste on the tongue. A soft smoky note combines with the aromas of spices and dark fruits.
FINISH: Long-lasting dry smoke aroma.

House style from Talisker: Full body and peat-smoky, like a volcano, very warm, typically peppery style.
