Bunches are carefully destemmed and placed into fermenters. The grapes are gently macerated and fermented with yeast native to the vineyard. Cool fermentation temperatures enhance the rich and generous fruit flavours and soft tannins enjoyed in this wine.
Tasting Note
Aroma: Vibrant dark cherries, chocolate, black pepper and tomato leaf. Palate: Delightfully juicy with layers of boysenberry, cherry and chocolate leading to delicious Tempranillo tannins reminiscent of ironstone.
Food Pairing
Steak sandwich with bacon, cheese, caramelised onion and beetroot relish or smoky barbeque sweet potato and chickpea burgers.
