Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon Viré-Clessé is a biodynamic, barrel-aged white wine made by Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon in Burgundy (France) with the Chardonnay variety.
TASTING NOTES
An extensively floral-suffused nose is laced with pretty citrus, anise and wood hints. There is again excellent volume and mid-palate density to the delicious medium-weight flavors that terminate in a tension-filled and very dry finish that is also supported by lemon-tinged acidity. The north-facing aspect of this terroir is a positive as the acid/fruit balance is excellent.
