About the Winery:

The Domaine Henri Rebourseau is an iconic Burgundy vineyard founded in 1782. Now directed by the sixth generation, Bénigne and Louis de Surrel, they cultivate 13.6 hectares of exceptional vines planted on lands cultivated for over 1,400 years, including the highly reputed Clos de Vougeot. The vineyard is distinguished by its wines aged for 10 to 15 years, including 5 cuvées classified as Grand Cru and 2 cuvées classified as Premier Cru.

"This is also moderately reduced and unreadable. The notably finer and more mineralinflected medium weight flavors display fine length and notably better depth on the youthfully austere, balanced and lingering finish. This lovely effort is classic Fonteny." Allen Meadows – Burghound
