Valli Bendigo Vineyard Pinot Noir 2023 is a powerful and highly acclaimed single-vineyard Pinot Noir from Bendigo, Central Otago. Bendigo is one of the warmer parts of Central Otago, and Valli describes wines from this elevated site as dark, rich and lush, with the vineyard sitting around 310–350 metres above sea level on loess, mineral-rich clay, lime, schist and quartz soils. 

Deep garnet in colour, the 2023 opens with enticing aromas of blackberry, dark cherry and plum, layered with lily, sweet pea, rosemary, birch and dark chocolate. The palate is tightly structured and concentrated, combining layers of dark fruit and spice with vibrant acidity and generous, mouth-coating tannins. Despite its power, there is an attractive freshness and restraint, finishing long, savoury and beautifully balanced. Valli suggests this exceptional vintage can develop for 20+ years.
