A case of Old World meets New World, a joint venture between Australian winemaker Nerida Abbott and Laurent Delaunay from Burgundy. Won over by the diversity of terroirs of the Languedoc-Roussillon region, they have worked relentlessly to produce the finest examples this region has to offer. Les Fleurs Sauvages (translates to wildflowers) is made from Mourvedre grapes from selected parcels in Pays d’Oc, South of France.

TASTING NOTES

A slightly restrained nose that needs swirling to coach out the bouquet, breathe deeply and you can see red and black liquorice, black plums, green coffee beans, wild raspberries with cedar and brown spices.

Alc: 13%
